We will include an instruction page to you with specific information in regards to the vendor.
ACC/Dual Credit Information
Credit is only awarded upon receipt of an official transcript from ACC. The student MUST request ACC to send their transcript to Anderson High School because transcripts are NOT sent automatically. Graduating seniors should verify with the Anderson Registrar that their transcript was received from ACC. Courses will be reflected on the next printing of the official transcript. Official transcripts are printed at the end of each regular semester, after credits have been awarded.
Correspondence Courses/Credit By Exam
Credit is only awarded upon receipt of an official transcript from UT and Texas Tech on correspondence courses. Credit is also awarded when students take the CBE offered by AISD and the results are sent to campuses by Systemwide Testing. Courses will be reflected on the next printing of the official transcript. Official transcripts are printed at the end of each regular semester, after credits have been awarded.
Trustees’ Scholar Award
The district has established a program of annual awards to high school students to recognize and encourage outstanding academic achievement. It is known as the Trustees’ Scholar Award and it occurs annually in a ceremony. A certificate is given each year a student is a recipient. The recipients must be scholastically within the top ten percent of their class group at the end of the first five reporting periods for that school year. Students must have earned at least a 3.0 GPA. A student who receives an I or an NC grade shall not be eligible to receive the award. The Trustee Awards does NOT replace the Cumulative Ranking that is done twice a year in December and June. To view the AISD policy regarding the Trustee’s Scholar Awards, click AISD.
Requesting Information
Information regarding GPA and Rank cannot be provided over the telephone because identification must be confirmed. Students may stop by our office any time and present a photo ID to receive the information. Parents may make transcript requests in person between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm, but please sign in at the main office and wear your visitor badge to the second floor. Your photo ID will be verified by the Registrar. New GPAs and class rankings are generated after each semester, and are available late January and late June. An announcement is made to the student body when these are available, and a copy of the transcript along with the class rank and GPA is provided.
