Gold & Silver at I-SWEEEP!

Serena Zadoo and Alex Crisara represented AHS at International Sustainable World Energy, Engineering, and Environment Project Olympiad. Serena won the Gold Medal and the MILSET NORAM USA Recognition Award. Alex won the Silver Medal, a University of Texas at Austin scholarship, and the Houston Urban Network for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Award.

Matt Earhart Honored

High School Teacher of the Year

AHS' own Matt Earhart, AVID and Contemporary Issues teacher, was named AISD's High School Teacher of the Year.   We are so proud of Mr. Earhart and so excited that his hard work with his students has been recognized in this way.

Summer PSAT Prep Course

AHS Offering

Anderson is once again offering a Summer PSAT Preparation Program to help students who will be juniors in the 2012-2013 school year prepare for the PSAT test. The purpose of this program is to increase the number of Anderson students who participate in college preparation programs and then attend college, and to provide an affordable PSAT review course for Anderson students. Dates are set!!

Students will receive their course lists and textbooks. Parking permits will be sold in August to students who bring in a completed parking permit application and fee.  Freshmen will receive lockers as well.
